The Great America PAC announced earlier Thursday that actress and conservative commentator Stacey Dash is the latest celebrity addition to a list of top-level supporters of the super PAC.
The PAC released a statement voicing the need to get behind Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee.
“The nomination process is over and regardless of other candidates one may have supported in the primary, it’s critical for the leaders in the country who believe in free markets to step up and rally behind Donald Trump and Great America PAC,” said Stanley Hubbard, a co-chair of Great America PAC.

“With our expanding list of supporters, we will have the financial resources to help Donald Trump win a billion-dollar campaign. For the sake of our children and grandchildren, Hillary Clinton must not be allowed to take our nation in a dangerous direction.”
The key backers of the PAC in terms of finances include co-chairs Hubbard, who owns several broadcast entities in Minnesota, and LendingTree founder Doug Lebda. New supporters include Dash and Dale Dykema, founder of TD Service Financial Corporation.
The organizers of the Great America PAC say they have raised nearly $2 million since the start of the year. It did not disclose how much each supporter has donated or pledged.

This past March, Dash defended Trump after accusations that the GOP front-runner was provoking violence amongst his supporters after a rally in Chicago was cancelled due to riots. Dash wrote on Patheos, “There’s a lot of talk about Donald Trump being violent, condoning it, or at least inciting it. But this is a total misread of our next President. First of all, he’s not responsible for what every random guy does — out of thousands.”
