Amazon to Release Audio Version of Mueller Report with 'Orwellian' Price Tag
Amazon’s Audible unit will be selling an audio version of the newly released report from special counsel Robert Mueller with the Orwellian price tag of $19.84.
Attorney General William Barr released a redacted version of Mueller’s report on Thursday.
In the widely anticipated report, Mueller’s team wrote that there is not enough evidence to suggest President Donald Trump coordinated with the Russian government to influence the 2016 election.
There are disputes over whether Trump attempted to obstruct justice, but the special counsel didn’t make a prosecutorial judgment on that allegation.
In other words, Trump won’t be charged with collusion or obstruction.
Of course, liberals were not happy with this outcome and are scrambling to salvage their Russian conspiracy theory.
Despite Trump being exonerated of collusion by Mueller’s report, Amazon seems to be taking a jab at Trump by pricing the audio book of Mueller’s report at $19.84.
“Amazon’s Audible unit will sell one audio version of the book ‘presented with related materials by the Washington Post’ for $19.84, a discounted price from $28.34 for Audible members,” MarketWatch reported.
Surely a coincidence, right? https://t.co/521LT4eJY7

This seems like a reference to George Orwell’s classic novel “1984,” which tells the tragic story of a man living in a dystopian society under a corrupt, authoritarian government.
Liberals love to make comparisons between “1984” and the Trump administration because of Trump’s dissatisfaction with the establishment media’s consistent negative reporting.
However, it’s a bad comparison because the press in America is completely free, and Trump obviously has no control over the media.
If that were the case, the media’s coverage of Trump would be positive.
A more apt comparison to “1984” would be the deep state, which attempted a coup against the Trump administration by endlessly searching for Russian collusion that never happened.
That’s not to mention the deep state’s cordial relationship with the media, which is actually dystopian and “1984”-esque.
The publisher of the audio book, Simon & Schuster Audio, claimed the “1984” price tag is “pure coincidence.”
However, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos (who also owns The Washington Post) and Trump have a public feud, which means that such an attack on Trump wouldn’t be surprising.
Let’s not forget that Trump gave Amazon’s founder the nickname “Jeff Bozo.”
Amazon’s decision to give Mueller’s report an Orwellian price tag might be a coincidence, but it could also signify the left’s plan to continue using the report to attack Trump.
