As the FBI investigation into presumed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton draws to a close, FBI director James Comey will soon make a recommendation to the Department of Justice head, Attorney General Loretta Lynch regarding whether to press charges against the former Secretary.
A recently uncovered private meeting between former President Bill Clinton and Lynch is drawing suspicions to the cause and subject matter of their meeting, considering the delicate legal situation between the General and the former president’s wife.
Lynch was questioned about the meeting, which occurred on Lynch’s private government plane at a Phoenix airport, by Phoenix’s ABC15 Arizona at a press conference.

Lynch claimed the two did not speak about the ongoing investigation into Clinton’s handling of classified information, or about potential charges against the presidential candidate. According to Lynch, the conversation centered around golf and grandchildren.
The meeting could be considered highly suspicious, and raises many ethical questions as to whether or not a federal prosecutor should be meeting with the family member of someone who is under criminal investigation.
