Famed “Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajak took to Twitter Saturday to remind Liberal lawmakers who are complaining about the recently passed GOP tax plan on the fundamentals of taxation.
“Reminder to all: tax rates are merely legal minimums,” Sajak wrote Saturday. “You are free to send as much as you’d like.”
Many on Twitter applauded Sajak and agreed with his sentiments, with one Twitter user calling Sajak’s statement the “Tweet of the day.”

Sajak, who Independent Journal Review says identifies as a conservative, appeared to aim the jab at those on the left who have been incessantly complaining about the GOP tax bill that was passed by the Senate in the early morning hours Saturday.
As CNN reported, the final vote was 51-49 with most members voting along party lines, except for Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker who was the only Republican to vote against the bill.
One of the most notable complaints from the left revolves around handwritten alterations added to the tax plan in the final moments before the vote.
Illinois Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin complained about the legibility of the handwriting.
“Trying to review the #GOPTaxScam but they are making hand-written changes to brand new text as we speak — can anyone else read this?”
Democrat Sen. Bob Menendez of New Jersey also appeared confused by the last-minute alterations to the bill.
The passing of the GOP tax plan was a huge victory for Senate Republicans and President Donald Trump who were both looking for a legislative victory.
