32% of Democrats Believe It's 'Racist' To Even Disagree with People of Color
If I’ve written one thing on this site worth remembering it is this:
When members of the left don’t have a winning argument, they resort to identity politics and buzzwords.
It’s as certain as death and taxes.
The disease that elevates name-calling over substance and shade-throwing over policy discussions has infected the left so deeply that you cannot engage in a robust discussion with a political opponent if that political opponent is a person of color — unless you don’t care about being labeled a bigot, a racist, or a xenophobe.
And that’s not me guessing.
That’s actually how a substantial portion of Democrats answered a question posed to them in a recent poll.
The poll asked Democrat respondents, “is it racist for a white politician to criticize the political views of a politician of color?”
Almost one out of three answered in the affirmative. Rasmussen reports that 32% of Democrats believe it is racist to dare disagree with a political opponent if that opponent has a different skin color.

That explains the insanity of the language we see being propagated across the media these days.
One cannot discuss the merits of border reform without being called a xenophobe by the left.
As soon as somebody attempts to discuss the science of whether life begins at conception, the left pounces and labels them a woman-hater and misogynist.
If you want to have a civil discussion to address issues surrounding prison reform, minimum wage, or even social media censorship, the left will crucify you as a racist.
One of the fundamental virtues of free speech is that intellectual diversity makes America a greater place. The politically correct culture of leftism punishes that same diversity.
The left wants to silence all detractors. It cannot let opposition stand. Because its ideas are inferior, the left embraces censorship, bans and name-calling to suppress or even eliminate the voices that dare question it.
Only the left would see silence-by-duress as a paradigm for freedom.
But do not let fear stop you.
Regardless of your opponent’s skin color, pay him the dignity of civility and truth. Do not hold back. Truth will prevail.
