Abortion House of Horrors. 47 Tiny Bodies Found in OJ Containers, Bags, Fridge
Apologies in advance for the disturbing imagery, but imagine walking into a place and finding countless harvested baby parts and bodies.
Imagine finding them in plastic bags, orange juice containers with the lid cut off, stuffed into a fridge.
Sounds like a nightmarish scenario out of a dystopian horror film, doesn’t it?
Sadly, in this case, the house of horrors is all too real.
And it’s that horrifying true story that is the basis of the new film “Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer.”
The film focuses on the heinous and unconscionable crimes committed by former physician Kermit Gosnell and his brutal career in a Philadelphia clinic.
At the site, according to LifeNews, Philadelphia Chief Medical Examiner Sam Gulino testifed investigators found a freezer containing the remains “of 47 aborted fetuses ranging in age from 12 weeks – the end of the first trimester – to late second trimester and beyond the 24-week ceiling under Pennsylvania’s abortion law.”
“Some were stored in makeshift containers such as a cut-down plastic distilled water jug or juice container,” Gulino testified, according to LifeNews. “Other remains, body parts, were stored in cat and dog food containers.”
In May 2013, Gosnell was convicted of the first-degree murders of three infants and involuntary manslaughter after a botched abortion attempt killed a woman named Karnamaya Mongar. Gosnell was also charged with 21 felony counts of illegal late-term abortion, and 211 counts of violating the 24-hour informed consent law.
And terrifying as they are, these numbers barely begin to describe the crimes Gosnell committed.
The movie’s executive producer, John Sullivan, spoke to The Western Journal about the movie and he elaborated on some of the horrors surrounding the Gosnell case.
The filmmakers worked closely with the Philadelphia Police Department investigators who were on the scene personally, along with District Attorney’s Office lawyers who prosecuted the case.
They wanted to make sure they got everything right.
But even the first-hand accounts couldn’t quite capture the horrors Gosnell committed, Sullivan said.
“They said you couldn’t imagine… You can’t get the smell together in a movie the right way,” Sullivan continued. “But they said every time you turned a corner, there was a new bag there and you just had no idea what they were going to find.”
Here comes the horror.
“They found over 40 children stored, bodies stored, throughout the facility, the clinic,” Sullivan said. “And so they had no idea what they were going to find as they went along.”
Written words can’t do justice to the atrocities Sullivan was describing.
“(Babies) were stored in plastic bags. They were put into orange juice containers with the lids cut off. And they were stored in refrigerators in the lunch room and the break room. So, this wasn’t even like they were stored in some separate refrigerator situation that was a specialty medical waste situation,” Sullivan said.
Sullivan also noted that many early screenings of the movie left viewers in a state of disbelief as to the horror of the situation. But in the movie’s post-credits, it shows the actual crime scene photos from the Gosnell facility and it showed just how real the atrocities were.
At the end of the day, abortion activists will try to defend abortion as necessary and safe. “Gosnell” basically debunks that entire notion.
Gosnell, 77, is currently serving a life sentence with no possibility of parole.
