Al Gore Forced to Admit Painful Trump Truth: Environment Suffering Less Damage

Share

Al Gore has more apocalyptic predictions than a Mayan calendar, but now he’s being forced to walk back some about President Donald Trump.

His 2017-relased “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power,” even opened its trailer with a scene of Trump questioning the whole idea of “global warming.”

While Gore has not been seen leaping into frigid arctic waters to save starving polar bears, he has done something this week that arguably qualifies as courageous in the era of antifa and left-wing violence: Saying he’d gotten things wrong about Trump.

“There are hundreds of other environmental procedures and regulations that Trump’s group has begun to undo, so he’s doing some damage, but overall, I would say, less than I had feared,” Gore told The Associated Press in an interview this week.

Hell has frozen over, pigs are flying, and Al Gore has admitted that Donald Trump isn’t as bad as he thought.

The former vice president was quick to shift praise away from Trump, saying “it’s hard for one person, even the president, to change things very quickly if the majority of American people don’t want them changed.”

Unfortunately for liberals, Gore’s implicit linking of Trump to climate apocalypse in his propaganda movie is about as believable as the rest of the left’s predictions about Trump, most of which were utterly trashed before the end of Trump’s first year.

One of the more popular beliefs was that after Trump assumed the presidency, a GOP-led government would tank the stock market, sending the United States into a depression that would make the 1930s look like high cotton.

But Trump never destroyed the economy. In fact, it’s doing better than ever thanks to less regulation and a pro-business administration. Unemployment is at record lows across the board, and tax cuts are putting more money in people’s pockets.

Are you shocked Al Gore is admitting he was wrong?

That’s not stopping the left from ramping up their usual tactics of ignoring statistics and common sense, but they’re now ignoring reality as well. Former President Barack Obama, in a recent address in South Africa, even claimed the economy of the United States is “not secure.”

The economy is tough to predict. If it were easy, there’d be a lot more Warren Buffetts.

Ice caps are a little easier to forecast. They exist now, and barring a meteor strike or James Bond villain plot, they’ll probably exist in the next 10 years.

Al Gore doesn’t play by our rules, though. In 2009, he predicted an entire meltdown of all polar ice by 2014.

But as the National Snow and Ice Data Center confirms, not only do the ice caps exist, but they’ve even been growing in recent years.

That king of thing must give Al Gore chills.

But one thing is pretty certain: Trump has had Gore’s number when it comes to global warming for years.

It’s a good bet he won’t be changing his mind about Gore any time soon.
