A high school senior was allegedly beaten by a crowd comprised of individuals protesting against both Donald Trump’s inauguration and conservative pundit Milo Yiannopoulos‘ speech at the University of Washington.
A video that emerged on social media showed the young man, visibly injured and partially covered with blue paint, describing the attack together with his father. The alleged assault occurred at the same Seattle protest where a gunman critically wounded one individual.
The young man, identified as Alex, said that he just wanted to hear what the protesters “were chanting about and read their signs.” Unfortunately for him, he was wearing an American flag hat — and that got the liberals angry.
“I did nothing to agitate them. The most I did was stand up there waving this hat,” the senior said, referring to his American flag hat.

He said that he was pulled into the crowd and beaten. He said they threw paint at him, as well.
According to The Seattle Times, the crowd stemmed from a merger of two separate protests — one that began downtown against Donald Trump’s inauguration and another which was trying to prevent those who had tickets to see Milo Yiannopoulos speak at the University of Washington from entering the venue.
In the melee, a 25-year-old man was shot behind Kane Hall, where Yiannopoulos was scheduled to speak. Police were searching for a 50-year-old Asian man in connection with the shooting. The victim was reportedly undergoing surgery at Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center.
The Seattle protests were the culmination of a day of thuggish behavior from the left, one that ended with garbage cans ablaze and storefronts smashed in, all because America exercised its democratic principles.
Unfortunately, with a weekend of protests planned and the left ratcheting up the bullying of anyone who deigns to disagree with them, we doubt that Alex’s beating is the last video of this sort that we’ll see.
