Avenatti Cowers, Hides Twitter Account After Saying Kavanaugh Accuser Is Getting Cold Feet
As the story surrounding California professor Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations of sexual misconduct against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh continued to crumble, a second accuser’s equally dubious claims were published over the weekend in the increasingly transparent leftist bid to smear and derail the judicially conservative Kavanaugh’s nomination.
Perhaps in search of more publicity, as the man seems to be drawn to any camera that will point in his direction, porn star lawyer Michael Avenatti — who represents adult film actress Stormy Daniels in her lawsuit against President Donald Trump — asserted without a shred of evidence that, he too, had a bombshell accusation from an alleged third accuser that could destroy Kavanaugh’s career.
But Breitbart just reported that Avenatti may have counted his chickens before they hatched, as he published a Twitter post Tuesday morning that implied that the alleged third accuser may not come forward publicly soon, if at all.
He then changed the settings on his Twitter account to private, essentially locking out any other users who weren’t already “confirmed followers” of Avenatti. The Conservative Tribune has confirmed that Avenatti’s account was locked Tuesday evening to non-followers.
It was only one day ago on Monday that USA Today reported that Avenatti had all but assured the alleged third victim of Kavanaugh’s apparently insatiable sexual appetite would come forward publicly within the next 48 hours.
Speaking to reporters after a hearing in relation to his lawsuit with Daniels against Trump, Avenatti claimed the accuser was a former employee of the State Department and U.S. Mint with multiple security clearances and was “100 percent credible” — with multiple corroborating witnesses to back up her allegations of sexual misconduct against the judge.
(Readers might already know that corroboration has been a problem for both Kavanaugh’s first accuser as well as his second.)
However, Avenatti declined to explain how this alleged accuser was acquainted with Kavanaugh, or when the alleged incident(s) may have taken place.
So, even as Avenatti seemed all set to imminently roll out his bombshell third accuser against Kavanaugh on Monday, he started the day Tuesday with a tweet that seemed to suggest the supposed victim wouldn’t be coming forward any time soon.
Furthermore, the tweet subtly implied that it would be the fault of the alleged accuser if Avenatti was thus unable to deliver on his massive promise of deeply scandalous allegations that would utterly destroy Kavanaugh.
Avenatti tweeted, according to Breitbart, “Let me be clear: We will disclose the client’s name and accusations only when SHE is ready and we have adequate security measures in place. And not a moment before that. It is her choice and hers alone as to when to surface bc it is her life. We expect it within the next 36 hrs.”
And then he locked his account, effectively preventing anybody who doesn’t already follow him from seeing, sharing or replying to his tweets.
This tweet, from a conservative who goes by the handle SooperMexican, summed it up well:

Considering that this man is drawn to media attention and publicity the way a June bug repeatedly bangs into an outdoor light fixture, his cutting off of the rather valuable communications avenue that is Twitter seems incredibly odd, especially right before he is supposedly going to drop a massive bombshell … one he’d presumably want everyone –including those who don’t like or follow him — to see.
In light of this development, one is compelled to wonder if Avenatti is attempting to hide something — if not himself — by locking his Twitter account to the public.
Perhaps he has grown tired of receiving pointed questions about his vague claims or messages of abuse and threats — if so, now he knows how Kavanaugh and his family feel — or maybe he has grown fearful that his promised bombshell will be a complete bust.
Whatever the case may be, Avenatti has taken the rather cowardly route of cordoning himself off to his own little liberal echo chamber on social media, where he and like-minded individuals can gleefully dance around the disgusting allegations and smears they’ve foisted on the previously spotless reputation of a man nominated for a seat on the Supreme Court.
We will simply have to wait and see if Avenatti will ever unlock his account and if his alleged third accuser will come forward publicly with new claims against Kavanaugh, but until that actually occurs, we suggest adjusting the attorney’s aptly earned nickname from “creepy porn lawyer” (as the “Tucker Carlson Tonight” show put it) to “cowardly creepy porn lawyer.”
