Avenatti Finds New Way to Garner Attention, Challenges Trump Jr. to a Fight

Share

Michael Avenatti, the creepy porn-star lawyer who won’t go away, is now challenging Donald Trump Jr. to a physical brawl.

The lawyer told people at Tuesday’s Vanity Fair Summit that he would be open to a charity match between himself and the son of his nemesis, President Donald Trump.

This is yet another way to garner attention for Avenatti. His vocal criticisms of the president don’t guarantee him consistent air time on cable news, so he’s forced to improvise.

Those familiar with Avenatti’s antics know this isn’t out of the ordinary.

The lawyer originally made a name for himself after filing a lawsuit on behalf of porn star Stormy Daniels. It centered around a 2016 nondisclosure agreement between the adult film actress and Donald Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen.

Avenatti made the media rounds during the case, taking any screen time given to him.

His media obsession was so well-known that the judge even gave him an ultimatum: His publicity tour had to stop if he wanted to represent Daniels in the federal investigation of Cohen.

After being given the choice, Avenatti appeared on MSNBC.

Are you tired of Avenatti's attempts at publicity?

Needless to say, Michael Avenatti made sure that wouldn’t be the last America heard of Michael Avenatti.

During Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation process, the last thing needed were more unsubstantiated allegations. Avenatti, of course, disagreed and introduced the world to Julie Swetnick.

Swetnick’s allegations were sickening. She told of underage gang rape parties allegedly frequented by Kavanaugh, as well as spiked drinks that left young girls unable to defend themselves.

These accusations were instantly shredded by lawmakers.

Swetnick’s story soon began to fall apart as people asked the simple question of “how many underage gang rape parties do you attend before calling the police?”

Even people who know Swetnick began coming forward, casting major doubts on her credibility.

Much of the embarrassment and fallout suffered after the flimsy accusation fell on Avenatti and Swetnick. The lawyer’s drive to attack anything remotely related to Trump kept him from researching a client’s accusations, as well as her own sketchy background, and turned him into a national laughing stock.

The lawyer has remained relatively quiet until challenging Trump Jr.

Avenatti may have also bit off more than he can chew with his fight plans. A quick search shows Trump Jr. is almost half a foot taller than the lawyer, and is known to lift weights. Video exists of him executing a dead lift of over 300 pounds.

If it comes to blows, the least we can expect is a very entertaining show.
