Biden Claims No 'Hint of a Scandal or Lie' During Obama Administration - What About These?
Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden just stood behind a podium and, with a straight face, said: “Know what I was most proud of? For eight years, there wasn’t one single hint of a scandal or a lie.”

Let me fact-check that, Joe.
1. Obama’s Healthcare Lie: Politifact awarded Obama the ‘Lie of the Year’ for his “If you like your health care, you can keep it” deception.
2. Obama’s State Department Email Scandal: Obama’s then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton attempted to evade federal open-record laws by setting up a private server and conducting official and classified business on those servers.
3. Benghazi: After Islamic terrorists killed four Americans during an attack on a U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012, Obama’s State Department falsely claimed that the violence was a “spontaneous reaction” to a “hateful and offensive” anti-Muslim YouTube video. Emails later revealed that then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton knew the event was, in fact, a planned terrorist attack from an “al Qaeda-like group.”
4. Data Breaches: One of the biggest hacking efforts against the federal government occurred on the Obama administration’s watch. The personnel files of millions of federal employees were exposed.
5. Operation Fast and Furious: Thousands of guns illegally passed through the hands of suspected drug smugglers and eventually landed in the possession of Mexican drug cartels. Most of the guns were lost by the Obama Justice Department.

6. IRS Targeting: Under the Obama administration, the Internal Revenue Service audited, targeted and harassed political opponents for the purpose of silencing and defeating them.
7. Unprecedented Lack of Transparency: According to the Heritage Foundation, Obama scandals were often not fully investigated because “47 of Mr. Obama’s 73 inspectors general signed an open letter in 2014 decrying the administration’s stonewalling of their investigations.”
8. Killing of American Citizens: At least seven Americans were killed by drone strikes authorized by the Obama administration.
9. Veteran Fatalities: Obama’s secretary of veterans affairs resigned after an estimated 307,000 veterans died awaiting medical attention.
10. Spying on the Press: According to the Washington Examiner, Obama’s “Justice Department spied on journalists’ phone activity, including their home phone activity, without notifying their editors.”
There are more. But you get the point.
However, Biden does not seem to get the point. He can’t help but spew lies and reckless statements.
This time, though, the world was quick to notice.

I’m sure Biden has accomplishments he can brag about, but eight years of scandal-free governance is not one of them.
