Hours before Caitlyn Jenner appeared on Tucker Carlson’s new Fox News program Monday evening for an interview, the former Olympian received an unwanted welcome outside Fox’s studios in Los Angeles, courtesy of conservative street artist Sabo.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sabo lined the streets around the studio with phony advertisement posters that depicted Jenner as the evil clown from Stephen King’s classic horror story “It.”
“In the faux ads appearing on bus benches for the upcoming movie, Jenner is seen peeking out of a sewer drain, where the clown from It dwells, trying to lure unsuspecting children into his lair,” the Reporter noted. “‘Tonight on Tucker Carlson: IT,’ reads the text. ‘Based on a novel reality.'”

“In another fake ad, behind glass at several bus stops, the scary clown’s body has Jenner’s head on it with the text ‘IT on Tucker Carlson Tonight,’ an indication that the artist expects his work to remain there for a least the next 24 hours.”
Hilarious, though Sabo admittedly made one tiny mistake. Carlson revealed late last week that his new show would be recorded from Washington, D.C., not Los Angeles or New York City, meaning that Jenner didn’t necessarily see Sabo’s posters.

Other than for that, Sabo’s posters were not only pointed but poignant. Claiming he’d recently converted to Islam and joined the Islamic State group, Sabo said his works were meant to draw a contrast between how Western conservatives criticize gay rights progressives, and how homesexuals are actually treated in states where fundamentalist Muslims actually hold power.
“This poster pales in comparison to throwing Bruce off a building or hanging him the way we Muslims do in many countries, and progressives don’t seem to have a problem when we do that,” Sabo told The Hollywood Reporter.
Exactly. While the posters may have been somewhat offensive, they were just statements — nothing more, nothing less, though plenty of oversensitive liberals probably disagree.
In a top-voted comment at The Advocate magazine, for instance, one liberal accused Sabo of “in sighting (sic) hate, violence, and intolerance.”

No. He was inciting laughter, and while laughter might offend some snowflakes, it sure beats being thrown off a roof. Plus, Sabo joked, now that he’s converted and joined the Islamic State group, liberals can’t criticize him for castigating Jenner however he chooses.
“So what’s going on with Bruce Jenner goes against my new-found faith,” he said, turning the left’s “logic” back against it. “If any progressives have a problem with this poster, then I’ll just have to label them ‘Islamophobic.’“
