CNN Uses "S***hole" 195 Times Before Confirming Trump Said It Once

Share

Just when you think that CNN couldn’t get any lower, the network has reached hit a new nadir. While President Donald Trump has denied saying it, CNN’s talking heads have lost their minds over Trump’s alleged “s***hole” comment about certain nations. So much so, that they couldn’t help but repeat it over 195 times on air.

Apparently, CNN was so offended by this alleged comment by Trump that, according to Newsbusters, “CNN staffers and CNN guests uncorked the profanity 195 times in one day.”

Yes, you read that correctly. They said the word 195 times in one day.

Additionally, that’s just from Friday. That doesn’t include almost a week that’s passed since then.

Meanwhile, it’s important to stress that the White House maintains Trump didn’t even say it once. On Tuesday, in fact, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, who was present during the meeting where the Trump’s comment allegedly took place, told a Senate panel that she did not hear the president used the word.

But for a story like this, CNN apparently didn’t need much confirmation.

The infamously liberal host Don Lemon’s “CNN Tonight” used the word quite a bit. In a show that airs from 10 p.m. to midnight eastern time, it was dropped 22 times from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m., and another 11 times from 11 p.m. to midnight, according to Newsbusters.

“New Day,” another show from CNN also dropped 33 S-bombs from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday, according to Newsbusters. Hopefully, the kids weren’t watching at the time.

But the “195 times” number is a little misleading too. This figure doesn’t take into account the number of times CNN actually put the word on screen. In fact, in Cuomo’s show, he actually showed the word twice, and spelled it out!

Do you think this is a hypocritical move by the media?

So, what about other networks? Did they actually use this word on live TV? Some did, and others didn’t.

MSNBC joined the CNN train and used S-words 14 times from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday.

However, the Fox News Channel told its staffers not to use the word at all, according to Newsbusters. Additionally, ABC, CBS, and the PBS News Hour had zero instances of the word, probably due to the fact that FCC won’t allow them to use it from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

In a column published by CNN, contributor Jeff Yang actually applauded the network for using the word on air — and criticized American news outlets that avoided it.

“It’s one thing for Trump’s words to be obscured because of translation barriers. It’s another for American media to euphemistically soften the President’s repulsive term for the nations of Africa,” he wrote.

Then, he added, parenthetically, “I’m proud that the great majority of CNN’s anchors and correspondents — including Jim Acosta, Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon, Phil Mudd, Jake Tapper and Brian Stelter — did not do so.”

Are you beginning to see how hypocritical the mainstream media is?

CNN’s talking heads lost their minds the moment they got word that Trump allegedly said this comment (in a private meeting no less) but apparently it’s OK for them to say it in public all over the airwaves. This just reeks of hypocrisy.

I’m sure we can expect nothing less than more hypocrisy spew from the mouths of this leftist media. Luckily, we all have a remote control that works great at changing channels.
