Ever since President Donald Trump was elected, and especially so since his inauguration, there has been a torrent of hate-filled, intolerant and at times violent anti-Trump protests manufactured in major urban centers across the nation.
The liberal media have played up these protests as purported proof of how many Americans have rejected Trump, likely in a bid to discourage Trump voters and compel them to withdraw their support.
But now we have learned from Breitbart News that some conservative leaders are no longer willing to sit back and silently permit the angry leftists to continue driving the media narrative. They are organizing a sort of counter-protest movement that will vividly display the support Trump maintains among the heartland of the country.

This pro-Trump movement has developed plans to hold what are being dubbed “Spirit of America” rallies, scheduled in several states nationwide for Feb. 27 and March 4.
A key organizer in the effort is Debbie Dooley, a national co-founder of the tea party movement, who declared in a news release that, “These rallies are inclusive, non-partisan, and open to anyone supporting President Trump in his efforts to bring back manufacturing jobs to America, put the security of our nation ahead of political correctness, improve our infrastructure, revitalize the inner cities and secure our nation’s borders.”
Dooley hopes to mobilize the “silent majority” that voted Trump into office as a response to the anti-Trump protests, and that “silent majority” includes plenty of pro-Trump women and even some Democrats supportive of the president, often referred to as “Trumpocrats.”

It is worth noting that the Feb. 27 date of the first “Spirit of America” nationwide rally is also the anniversary of the first major tea party event in 2009.
Other leaders quoted in the news release included retired Air Force Col. Rob Maness and Ralph King, an Electoral College member from Ohio.
“I am proud to lead the charge here in Louisiana to get supporters of President Trump to show their support of his policy agenda through these Spirit of America rallies,” stated Maness, a two-time Senate candidate and founder of the pro-Trump GatorPAC, which is dedicated to assisting in the effort to “drain the swamp.”
“Average citizens from across the political spectrum and all walks of life elected Mr. Trump and we at GatorPAC are especially pleased to help him with his national effort to Make America Great Again and #DrainTheSwamp priorities in Washington, D.C.”
King called the rallies a “continuation” of the election campaign.
“These ‘Spirit of America’ rallies are a continuation of the collective voice of Americans that embrace President Trump’s policies to put the American workers and citizens first once again,” he said, adding that the voice of “the American electorate spoke loud and clear this past November.”
King is also a co-founder of the Main Street Patriots, one of the groups organizing the “Spirit of America” that have already scheduled pro-Trump demonstrations in at least 10 states.

This is an excellent idea to confront and counter the anti-Trump protests. Demonstrations in Trump’s favor have been ignored or downplayed by the media since the president’s inauguration. Hopefully, there will be such a strong turnout and surge of support at the “Spirit of America” events they will be impossible to ignore.
Please share this on Facebook and Twitter to help spread the word about the conservative plan to push back against the anti-Trump protests with nationwide pro-Trump rallies.
