Country Superstars Refuse to Get Political... Go Full America With Special Tribute

Share

While just about everyone at the Grammy Awards were denigrating President Donald Trump, a duo of country music stars went full America with a special tribute to the victims of the tragic Las Vegas shooting.

As noted by OfficialSarahPalin.com, country superstars Maren Morris, Eric Church and Brothers Osborne performed a moving tribute Sunday night rather than trashing Trump.

The group sang Eric Clapton’s “Tears in Heaven” in remembrance of all the innocent victims who were killed during the shooting late last year.

“On Oct. 1, all of country music was reminded in the most tragic way, the connection we share with our fans, and the healing power music will always provide,” said T.J. of the Brothers Osborne band before they begin their performance.

“We all performed in Las Vegas that tragic weekend,” said Morris, adding, “and we wanted to come together and honor the memory of the beautiful, music-loving souls so cruelly taken from us.”

The tribute paid homage to the victims who were savagely killed by Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock, who opened fire from his room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino during the music concert.

Did you enjoy the performance paying tribute to the victims of the tragic shooting?

His actions killed 58 innocent people and injured more than 520 concert-goers.

The tragic shooting brought many Americans together, and shed light on the unbreakable spirit of our citizens.

Unfortunately, liberals have continued to use the tragic shooting to promote their leftist gun control agendas.

Some have gone so far as to blame Trump for the shooting.

Nevertheless, the tribute was more than likely well-received and appreciated, as it was the only performance all night that wasn’t politically charged.

Actually giving a performance for all Americans to enjoy is so much better than Hollywood elites grandstanding and using their platform to trash Trump and his supporters.

Many won’t find it surprising that it happened to be country superstars who were the only group to actually do something the American people want.

Their tribute speaks volumes about their character and desire to use their platform to shed light on a topic worth spotlighting: the victims of the tragic shooting.
