Democrat Donor: It's Time to Bomb the Jews

Share

It’s no secret that we are beginning to see anti-Semitic sentiment increase at an alarming rate, especially in Europe. Now, a major donor to the Democrat party has come out and openly expressed his anti-Semitic views.

The Washington Free Beacon reported that last year, an official at the anti-Israel American Muslims for Palestine group donated $2,500 to Democratic Party leader Rep. Keith Ellison’s campaign. While there’s nothing wrong with the donation, the comments and views from this anti-Semite are more than troublesome.

In 2014, the donor in question, Taher Herzallah, openly advocated for Jews to be murdered. He said the “State of Israel is a lie” and even called for Israelis to be bombed.

“Israelis have to be bombed, they are a threat to the legitimacy of Palestine, and it is wrong to maintain the State of Israel. It is an illegitimate creation born from colonialism and racism,” Herzallah said, according to the Anti-Defamation league.

He then doubled down his statements by saying that “the only language that the state of Israel understands is that of resistance.”

The Free Beacon also reported that Herzallah has proposed establishing an Islamic state, as well as using “violent means to resist occupation.”

But has Ellison denounced the donor’s anti-Semitic remarks? Yes and no. He originally supported the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions campaign whose goal is to economically destroy Israel. He even supported radical groups like Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood’s Muslim American Society.

Then, he became a politician and began to backtrack his statements. “I have long supported a two-state solution and a democratic and secure state for the Jewish people, with a democratic and viable Palestinian state side-by-side in peace and dignity,” he claimed.

He continued, “I don’t believe boycotting, divesting, and sanctioning Israel helps us achieve that goal. I supported the Democratic Platform, which embraces this position.”

However, it’s doubtful he’s going to be giving that $2,500 back to Herzallah any time soon, which brings up a bigger point.

Imagine if a conservative was given donations by a person or group that openly advocated the killing of all Palestinians. There would be a uproar the likes of which this nation has never seen. News outlets and talking heads would be having a field day with it, and would be demanding the politician give back the financial contribution.

However, you don’t hear that coming from CNN, The Washington Post, or The New York Times when it comes to Ellison. In fact, the DNC wouldn’t even comment to the Free Beacon on whether or not it believes Ellison should give back the contribution.

Why? Because the DNC is bleeding financially — and their own anti-Israel sentiments don’t help either.

I wouldn’t hold your breath to see Ellison give back the money to this anti-Semite. Instead, I would imagine that he would welcome more contributions, which leaves us with the sad state of affairs within the Democrat party.

For Democrats, money and power comes before human lives, and that, dear reader, is the sad, yet brutally honest truth.
