On Friday, a truck rammed a group of four soldiers outside a mosque in southern France, a country that’s been on terrorist edge edge for terrorism since the November attacks in Paris.
The driver was an unnamed 29-year-old practicing Muslim of Tunisian descent who cried “Allahu Akbar” as he attacked sodliers in Valence.
France’s security has been greatly tightened after the recent Paris attacks perpetrated by Islamic State that took the lives of 130 people. Mosques and government buildings currently are under military protection for that reason.

“It shows he had an appreciation of that but it does not prove he had links with terrorist organizations,” Perrin concluded.
Earlier, it had been said that there were no links at all placing the man within the realm of organized terrorism. This is the first development from which one can confidently make that argument, although the French government is loath to agree.
“He reportedly shouted ‘Allah is great’, which suggests some sort of religious element,” Perrin was willing to admit.
There seems to be no sort of mental illness that would cause such radical behavior, and up to this date the man was not on any terror watch networks, although when apprehended, he said he wanted to “be killed by soldiers.” because they “kill people.”
If it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck, and cries “Allahu Akbar” like a duck, it generally is a duck.
