Disturbing Video: Leftists Attack as Man Says People Should Be Treated Equally

Share

Forget “civility.” Liberals are losing their sanity.

That was one message that came out of disturbing videos circulating in the cyberworld this week showing pro-abortion demonstrators gathered outside the Supreme Court on Monday to protest President Donald Trump’s nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the high court.

And if the way the mob treated a pro-life demonstrator who had to courage to enter the fray was an indication of how Kavanaugh’s nomination hearings are going to go, it’s going to be a rough couple of months for the nominee.

The country already learned how raucous the pro-abortion mob was Monday night when Fox News host Shannon Bream was forced to move her live program from the steps of the Supreme Court building to “the safety of the studio.”

Bream called the ugly mood on the steps “volatile,” but videos making the rounds on Twitter show just how brazen the pro-abortion crowd got. And it was grim.

One video captured a pro-life demonstrator using a bullhorn to try to spread the message that “every human being is equal” – a line almost straight out of the Declaration of Independence.

A pro-abortion agitator points his own bullhorn directly into the man’s ear, repeatedly changing “equality, now.”

(It’s a fine sentiment. But the method of delivery makes it clear the screaming man doesn’t actually believe it – at least not when it comes to opinions liberals disagree with.)

That was downright collegial, though, compared to the screaming the same pro-life demonstrator faced from two pro-abortion protesters.

As a Breitbart Twitter post showed, the couple screamed for almost two minutes directly into the man’s ears.

But even that scene was eclipsed by moments captured from later in the evening by WTTG, the Fox station in Washington. As the pro-life demonstrator repeatedly states, “abortion is murder,” the surrounding mob responds with what sounds like “oink, oink, oink, oink.”

It doesn’t like a scene out of American political disagreements. It looks something out of “Lord of the Flies.”

As ugly as all that was, it might be that the biggest problem with Monday night’s demonstration wasn’t exactly what was happening as where it was happening.

Do you think Brett Kavanaugh will be confirmed to the Supreme Court?

The fact that pro-abortion demonstrators were gathering at the Supreme Court building, instead of the White House or outside Capitol Hill, shows just how powerful the Supreme Court has become, thanks to the liberal usurpations of previous justices – where the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision is only the best known example.

Liberals, like these protesters, know they don’t have a chance against conservatives when it comes to the democratic form of government that was envisioned by the Framers in the world’s oldest written Constitution.

They have had to turn to the Supreme Court repeatedly to warp American law into a shape progressives favor, but would be foreign to the men who founded the greatest system of government the world has ever seen

If Kavanaugh takes a seat on the high court, he will help end that perversion of the government, and liberals know it.

But the ugliness of Monday night’s demonstration and the mob mentality that was evident — from Bream’s forced retreat to the behavior displayed in these videos — show just how low the left has gotten.

And sanity looks like nothing but a memory.
