Shortly after a group of terrorists slaughtered better than two dozen Coptic Christians on a bus, Egyptian fighter jets struck at a headquarters in eastern Libya in retaliation, according to news reports.
The attack was reportedly carried out against the headquarters of the Shura Council in the city of Darna, where militias are linked to Al-Qaeda, according to ABC News.
This air strike came after one of the more savage attack on Coptic Christians by extremists — as WMUR reports, three SUVs of masked men — 10 in total — opened fire on a bus full of Christians traveling to a monastery.

Casualty numbers have varied, but latest reports state the attack cost the lives of 29 Christians and wounded at least 25 more.
The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attack on Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Egypt’s president Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi has recently called for assistance from President Donald Trump and the United States to help the global war on terror.

“I direct my appeal to President Trump: I trust you, your word and your ability to make fighting global terror your primary task,” he said according to ABC News.
Coptic Christians continue to be persecuted, and will be persecuted indefinitely for as long as there are Islamic extremists out there.
There is no doubt that there is a war on terror to be waged in Egypt and its neighboring countries infested with terrorists.
Hopefully, this air strike will slow the bad guys down for a while.
