Combating international terrorism requires strength, power and force, all of which President Barack Obama lacks but Russian President Vladimir Putin possesses in droves.
Putin’s decision last week to attack the Islamic State group in Syria proves as much, as do videos we collected that showed his forces bombing the militants into smithereens.
The first video, uploaded on Sept. 30, allegedly showed Russian planes beginning their strike against the Islamic State group in Syria, as militants in and around the targeted camp screamed “Allahu Akbar” in utter horror:
The second video, uploaded a day later, showed raw footage of Russian jets bombing various Islamic State group compounds.
There was no sound to this particular video, but the devastation being wrought upon the terror organization was quite apparent:
The third video, uploaded on Oct. 2, showed Russian air jets conducting a “night-time air raid” on a bunch of previously sleeping, but now probably dead, militants:
The final video, uploaded in late September, allegedly showed Russian forces attacking the Islamic State group in Syria.
However, judging by the surroundings — which included a lot of snow for this time of year — the video, or parts of it, may have been created as more of a propaganda piece designed to showcase Putin’s glorious might:
Frankly, all four videos were impressive, especially given that they made our own president’s lackluster initiatives against the Islamic State group look like child’s play.
If Obama wants to win the war against radical Islam, he had better start paying attention to Putin, because though Putin might be a thug, he is a thug who knows how to get the job done.
