Our nation’s police officers come into contact with the most dangerous, crazed, drug-addled criminals who threaten our communities and our safety.
For example, officers in Denton, Texas, recently arrested a man who was strangely covered in black paint while playing in traffic, according to KSAZ.
The man, identified as Joseph Augustini, 25, reportedly told the officers who responded to the scene that he was “allowed to break the law,” and demanded they drop their weapons from their hands in order to make it a “fair fight.”

The cops determined that Augustini was suicidal, and during a search of him, they reportedly found a clear glass pipe of the kind generally used for meth, according to the Dallas Morning News.

The crazed man was taken to the Denton County jail where he was charged with public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was being held on a $1,000 bond.
This wasn’t the first time Denton police officers had come into contact with Augustini, either.
Court records show he had been arrested at least twice before, including once time for disorderly conduct, according to KDFW.
Hopefully, Augustini will receive a mental evaluation and drug treatment assistance during his time with the justice system, as he clearly has issues that need to be addressed. Otherwise, any jail time or punishment likely won’t be effective in ensuring that he doesn’t harm himself or someone else.
