Every Moderate or Undecided Voter in America Needs To See New RNC Ad 'Crazytown'

Share

The Republican Party has had a rather easy go of creating compelling campaign ads to bolster their efforts at maintaining the majority in Congress in the midterm elections, as the ads nearly write themselves.

Whether it be highlighting the absurd gaffes of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, the “ignorant incoherence” of socialist congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or the hypocrisy of Democrats accusing President Donald Trump of doing what they themselves have done, there is ample fodder for GOP advertisements.

According to The Daily Wire, the latest Republican National Committee ad didn’t even require the use of a narrator to deliver the party’s message. All that was needed was an editor to compile selected video clips and overlay a heart-racing musical score.

Perhaps borrowing a phrase from the new anti-Trump book by famed Watergate journalist Bob Woodward — who asserts the White House is a chaotic “crazytown” — the Republican ad is titled “The Left is Crazytown.”

The ad features several brief clips of unhinged leftist protesters repeatedly interrupting the confirmation hearings of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, interspersed among clips of prominent Democrat leaders appearing to call for violence against the right.

A clip of New Jersey Sen. Corey Booker showed him raging, “Please, get up in the faces of some congresspeople,” followed by California Rep. Maxine Waters’ infamous call for supporters to confront Trump administration cabinet officials in public spaces.

Then there was Democratic National Committee chairman Tom Perez, who at a rally asserted, “Those Republican leaders, and President Trump, don’t give a s— about you.”

That was in turn followed by Pelosi, who at news conference shrugged and stuttered, “I just don’t even know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country.”

The ad concluded with video footage of leftist antifa protesters smashing store windows and causing other destruction and vandalism, and stated in bold letters, “The Left is Crazytown.”

Do you think this ad can encourage people to vote for Republicans?

“While people inside the beltway focus on palace intrigue and anonymous quotes, this ad focuses on what the media will not: Democrats have gone crazy and aren’t hiding it,” RNC spokesman Steve Guest told The Daily Wire.

“Republicans will continue to deliver for American people while Democrats have become completely unhinged,” he added.

And that right there essentially sums up the biggest difference between the two parties at this point in time: One side is focused on getting things done for the American people, while the other side remains engaged in a prolonged obstructionist temper tantrum.

Place yourself for a moment in the shoes of a moderate centrist voter who is thus far undecided on who to support in the upcoming midterm elections, and ask yourself which side seems more appealing — “winners” racking up achievements or a collection of sore losers trying to block or destroy everything.

Staying for a moment in the moderate centrist’s shoes, ask yourself if you’d rather align with the sort of hard-working, values-embracing sort of folks who will, at worst, hold a polite tea party rally and clean up after themselves … or bitterly angry leftists intent on destruction, mayhem and terror against their ideological foes (which would include the moderate centrists, just so we’re all on the same page).

I think we all know the answer to that question, as does the GOP, which is why this ad didn’t even need a narrator to explain things. The video clips and insane outbursts from elected Democrats speak volumes in and of themselves.
