Famed Rapper Joins Kanye in Fight Against Democrat Brainwashing

Share

There’s a cultural shift happening within the black entertainment community, and liberals are not going to like it.

Last week, rap musician Kanye West — famous for his over-the-top personality and marriage to Kim Kardashian — posted a seven-word tweet that instantly went viral.

“I love the way Candace Owens thinks,” Kanye posted, referring to the black conservative woman who has urged other African-Americans to stop seeing themselves as victims.

The rapper’s simple message of support received nearly 100,000 “likes,” and was followed up with another viral tweet in which Kanye showed off a Trump-signed “Make America Great Again” hat.

Now, another well-known black rapper is standing with Kanye. On Wednesday, Chance the Rapper, whose real name is Chancelor Jonathan Bennett, spoke up to let black voters know they should think for themselves.

“Black people don’t have to be democrats,” Chance declared on Twitter. Over a quarter-million people reacted to that message, including none other than Donald Trump Jr.

“The same goes for all the intersectional groups of the left that say you HAVE to be a democrat. That isn’t true. Be free, think for yourself,” the president’s adult son said in agreement.

If there was any doubt that the two rappers were sending a message of support for conservative black voices, a few more tweets from Kanye cleared it up quickly.

“Obama was in office for eight years and nothing in Chicago changed,” the famous musician declared on Wednesday. “You don’t have to agree with Trump but the mob can’t make me not love him.”

Interestingly, Kanye West was somewhat famously a critic of former President George W. Bush, particularly in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Similarly, Chance the Rapper was a Hillary Clinton supporter. His father also worked for Barack Obama before his presidency.

Do you think this is the start of a major shift in the black community?

A lot can change over a decade. While we wouldn’t put it past Kanye that all this is some sort of clever viral marketing move, both rappers seem genuine in their willingness to walk away from the crowd and think for themselves politically.

For far too long, the left has taken black voters for granted. Despite all the talk of “diversity,” liberals seem to only embrace superficial differences while attacking diversity of thought. The tone becomes hostile as soon as a black American doesn’t vote Democrat at the polls.

Next time a black person refuses to repeat Democrat talking points, take a look at how liberals respond. You’ll see accusations of being an “Uncle Tom” and far worse phrases being used, proving beyond a doubt that independent thought is not welcome.

One person at a time, people are realizing that the old rules and assumptions don’t apply any more … and that dramatic shift terrifies the left. Conservatism is the new counter-culture.
