Liberal Logic: Feinstein Attacks Trump After Her 20-Year Personal Driver Turns Out To Be Chinese Spy

Share

Uber-liberal Sen. Dianne Feinstein, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee’s investigation into whether then-presidential candidate Donald Trump colluded with Russia to win the presidency in 2016, lacks the moral and political authority to conduct such an investigation as she had on her staff an employee with ties to Chinese intelligence services.

This employee was not only Feinstein’s driver — a good position for espionage — but also on occasion her representative at political events she was unable to attend.

On Saturday Trump for the second time highlighted this matter and asserted that because of her driver, Feinstein should recuse herself from the Senate investigation.

“… Dianne is the person leading our Nation on ‘Collusion’ with Russia (only done by Dems). Will she now investigate herself?” Trump tweeted.

Feinstein defended herself in another tweet but in doing so did not address Trump’s essential point: that there had been a spy in her employ.

“The FBI told me 5 years ago it had concerns the China was seeking to recruit an administrative member of my Calif staff (despite no access to sensitive information). I took those concerns seriously, learned the facts and made sure the employee left my office immediately,” Feinstein tweeted.

But this is not the first time a communist mole infiltrated a Democrat power-player’s staff.

Should Dianne Feinstein recuse herself from the Trump-Russia investigation?

In 1948, President Franklin Roosevelt’s former Vice President Henry Wallace mounted a third-party challenge to then-President Harry Truman.

Wallace openly defended Soviet dictator Josef Stalin’s imperialism during the campaign.

Republicans and Democrats at the time — among them former first lady Eleanor Roosevelt — saw a more sinister source behind Wallace’s naivete, for he had on his staff not only members of the American Communist Party but also a KGB agent.

To his credit, Wallace apparently did not know this at the time.

One can only speculate what Feinstein’s driver gathered and funneled back to Chinese intelligence — a spy can do a lot of damage from the vantage point of a front seat.

But because of her stupidity on this matter she should recuse herself from the Trump-Russia Senate investigation.

Worse, she has failed the expectations of the citizenry, for at the very least the populace should expect of senators on the Senate Intelligence Committee is the ability to detect a spy sitting six feet in front of them.
