WATCH: Gary Johnson Does It AGAIN… Makes Bizarre Tongue Move During Interview

If you were hoping for a third-party alternative from the Libertarian Party this year, you’re going to have to do a lot to overlook former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson’s self-conscious weirdness.

The beetle-eyed politician, who has climbed a lot of mountains (and let him please tell you about it, as he is wont to do; if you let him, it’s pretty much all he’ll do in spite of the fact that he’s actually running for like, the presidency), has been making headlines for the fact that he seems like he’s the only alternative to Trump or Hillary.

However, this CNN interview will make you think twice about Johnson. This isn’t what you might call the most stable candidate, as this video will quickly prove.

If Gary Johnson got into the debate, he says that “People would recognize that there’s another choice. There would be an examination of me and Bill Weld as who we are and what we’ve done.”

And that’s when he decided to stick out his tongue, because why the heck not?

“I think I could stick my tongue out for the whole debate,” a grown man running for president with his tongue out tried to pronounce, “and not say anything, and I something something something I am the modern Ted Kennedy and something something something and should probably check into 12-step” (I may be interpreting the end of this in a different way than most viewers will, because, again, this is Gary Johnson and apparently this guy is getting 13 percent of the vote for some unknown reason).

Even if you’re not a huge Trump fan, I don’t quite get the appeal of a guy who deliberately tries to alienate you and then pretends it’s a huge joke.

Yes, he was once the governor of New Mexico, and yes, he’s exceedingly hilarious or whatever, but how this is relevant to my life is anybody’s guess — least of all Johnson’s, since he’ll be sitting home this week. Tongue or not.
