GOP Candidate Fears Going Door-to-Door After Alleged Sucker Punch Left Him Unconscious

Share

If it wasn’t obvious yet that the left will stoop to violence and intimidation to get its way, two Republicans in Minnesota have said they were attacked in separate instances over the weekend.

Minnesota House candidate  Shane Mekeland was attacked at a restaurant Friday, according to local news station KMSP-TV.

Mekeland had stopped at a restaurant to see if he could hold a campaign event there. He was having a discussion about health care and taxes with a few people, the station reported, when one of the men suddenly attacked “out of nowhere.”

Mekeland, who didn’t see the attack coming, fell backward and suffered a concussion.

“The last thing I heard is him say – I’ll keep out the colorful language – ‘You bleepin’ people don’t give a bleep about the middle class,'” Mekeland told KMSP.

The attacker had to be a liberal. A conservative wouldn’t punch someone over a discussion about health care and taxes.

A conservative would also know that the middle class is doing great under Republican leadership.

As a result of the liberal’s attack, KMSP reported, Mekeland won’t go door-to-door alone anymore.

Has the left completely accepted violence?

Another Minnesotan Republican, state Rep. Sarah Anderson, was also attacked over the weekend.

Anderson confronted a man who was kicking her campaign sign. He said he was an “anarchist,” and told her to kill herself.

She attempted to get a photo of the “anarchist” and that’s when he attacked.

“That’s when he just hauled off and punched me in the arm,” Anderson said according to KMSP-TV. “Then I put the car in reverse to just get out of there.”

Perhaps this “anarchist” is a member of the far-left group antifa, which is often defended by liberals.

After attacking a Manhattan Republican building earlier this month, an apparent antifa group left a message saying there were more attacks to come.

Like Mekeland, Anderson is planning to take volunteers with her when she campaigns.

This is what leftists want. They’re a violent mob who will use any dirty trick in the book to hinder their opponents while the establishment media defends them by denying everything.

These constant attacks are not a coincidence. Left-wing politicians enable this behavior.

Nobody should have to suffer a concussion because of their political views.
