Time magazine, like virtually all of the mainstream media in the United States, has it out for Donald Trump, and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee appeared on Fox News this week to set the record straight about what is wrong with this nation and its journalistic fallacies.
As a guest on the fair and balanced network’s “The First 100 Days,” Huckabee blasted a Time report Thursday that stated, among other things, that, “Trump is rallying his political base against the federal agencies he oversees, thus partnering his presidency with a radical fringe. Win or lose, the standoff he has engineered will diminish the credibility of the government.”
Huckabee called the piece another example of anti-Trump media showing how little journalistic integrity they have by writing a “contemptuous and condescending story.”

Not only that, he hinted at the true problem of government the left is completely missing.
Trump came to cause a “major disruption” to the status quo, Huckabee said. It is why so many people voted for him — because their rights as Americans were not being protected by a government that does things solely for the protection of itself — and its preferred racial and social classes.

“This is at the zenith of what people are disgusted by,” Huckabee said. “It’s a war for the freedom that the American people have lost because of Washington.”
Further he argued that so many people have too long worshipped the government, saying that they have “changed a real worship of God into the god of government. It is the new golden calf. And I think a lot of people are seeing Donald Trump as the guy coming down off the mountain and taking the golden calf and, in the proverbial words, of saying he’ll put it where the sun don’t shine.”

This is the message so many of the left are missing: No government is God. And building a society around dependence on government is a recipe for failure.
When Trump promised to “drain the swamp,” he meant he was going to disrupt the government that has too long stopped working for the people and make sure it begins to work for all Americans again.
