Illegal Punks Didn't Know Woman's Secret, Make Biggest Mistake of Their Lives

Share

Looks can be deceiving.

Two illegal aliens in Scotland found that out the hard way when they attacked what they thought was a defenseless woman in September and ended up getting a beating themselves before being arrested.

It turns out, this woman had a secret defense her attackers never expected.

According to The Scottish Sun, Mohammad Islam, 28, and Shehab Smekramuddin, 48, assaulted the woman after she left a nightclub in Forfar, Scotland.

Islam approached the woman first, asking if she wished to be “walked home,” the Sun reported. While he had her attention, Smekramuddin attacked her from behind, “knocking her down and pinning her to the ground,” according to the newspaper.

Had the woman really been as defenseless as she looked, the attack might have led to a rape — or even murder.

But that’s when the woman’s secret came out — karate expertise that enabled her to defend herself and drive off her attackers with a series of blows and kicks, including at least one that landed in a place no man wants to be kicked.

“If they hadn’t picked someone proficient in karate to target, then [the victim] being raped may well have happened,” prosecutor Eilidh Robertson told the jury.

Despite the evidence that the men were not interested in robbery — they could have taken the woman’s purse and fled before she started fighting back, Robertson said — the two were convicted of assault, but not of attempted rape, the Courier of Dundee, Scotland, reported Friday. The men face sentencing next month.

Women: Do you own a gun for self-defense purposes?

While the attack occurred in Scotland, the lessons from the case are universal.

First, self-defense is the intrinsic, God-given right of every human being. However, because of the essential physical differences between men and women, a woman will almost always need an extra edge in a physical confrontation with a man, or more than one man.

In the Forfar woman’s case, that edge was an expertise in martial arts. In a country with strict gun-control laws, that’s not a bad weapon to have, of course.

But had she been in the United States, where the right of owning firearms is guaranteed by the Constitution, it’s a good chance she would have been able to deal with thugs like this without the danger of engaging them physically (even a karate expert can be knocked cold).

A second lesson is that every country needs to have control over its borders to prevent crimes like this being committed by those who are in the country illegally.

The news accounts don’t say where these two men are originally from — judging by their names, the Middle East is a pretty safe bet — but an illegal alien’s country of origin is irrelevant.

It doesn’t matter what country they are from, no “migrant” has a right to be in another country without the permission of the host government.

In recent years, Europe has been overrun by immigration from the Middle East, and previously peaceful countries are seeing crime skyrocket as a result. In the United States, crimes committed by illegal aliens aren’t exactly hard to find.

Of course, some states have infringed unnecessarily on the right to bear arms — sometimes with tragic results — but that just makes the point more clear.

Every man and woman on earth has a right to self-defense, and it’s just an irrefutable fact that a woman is more likely to need help in obtaining it beyond the physical strength God gave her.

For the woman fearing rape in Forfar, Scotland, that help was training in the martial arts. In the United States, it could well be the “great equalizer” of a firearm.

In either country, though, the presence of illegal aliens adds an unnecessary element of danger to everyday living.

Fortunately, in this woman’s case — and unfortunately for the illegal aliens — looks were very deceiving.
