As anyone who’s ever seen the prison drama “Oz” will tell you, there’s a veritable panoply of things that will get your butt kicked in prison. Snitching, crossing the wrong person, using the phone for too long — all of these will get you a good whupping.
However, even with that experience you might not expect this one. A Canadian prisoner who pushed a little hard to proselytize his fellow inmates and convert them to Islam got thoroughly trashed after the other inmates got tired of hearing all about Allah (peace be upon him).
The beating, which occurred on March 3 at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre, was released by Canadian officials this week because it was used in a court case in Ottawa. One of the assailants, 24-year-old Terrence Wilson, was sentenced to 60 days in jail for his part in the attack on Carlos Larmond, the Muslim inmate.
And here I thought that Canadians were friendly and sedate. Or is that sed-eh-te? Thank you, I’ll be here all weekend.
Larmond is in jail along with his twin brother on — quelle surprise! — terrorism charges. The two were interdicted by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police before they attempted to travel abroad “to participate in terrorist activity.”
Apparently, Larmond decided that if he couldn’t kill the infidels, he might at least get some of them to join his ranks. Wilson’s lawyer, Paolo Giancaterino, said that Larmond’s attempts at conversion became increasingly pressing.
“It first started with some friendly requests for him to convert to Islam and be a soldier of Islam, and my client was having none of it,” Giancaterino said.
“It escalated to the point where threats were starting to be made that my client would be killed in his cell if he didn’t convert. That was followed up by another threat that my client’s family would be killed by someone on the outside if he didn’t convert.” (H/T BizPac Review)
We caution you, this is video is extremely graphic:
Jailhouse justice is never anything we like to see, but this does show the lengths that some Muslims will go to in order to try to force their beliefs on others.
Unfortunately, Carlos Larmond forgot the fact that he was around violent people, and he ended up paying a severe price for his actions.
Please like and share on Facebook and Twitter if you agree this Muslim went a little to far in order to try to reach converts.
