While Orlando shooter Omar Mateen was killing 50 and wounding at least 53 more at the Pulse gay nightclub in Orlando, he called 911 and pledged allegiance over the phone to the savage killers of the Islamic State group.
In spite of all that, President Barack Obama has refused to use the words “Islamic terrorism” yet again.
“We know enough to say this was an act of terror and act of hate,” Obama said in an address to the nation, according to CNN.
But where would Mateen get such hate? Maybe from imams like Dr. Sheikh Farrokh Sekaleshfar.
Who is Dr. Sheikh Farrokh Sekaleshfar? Well, according to USA Radio Networks, Sekaleshfar gave a talk in 2013 at the Husseini Islamic Center of Sanford, Florida. In it, he described how to be “compassionate” to the gay community. His idea of “compassion,” we warn you, may not match yours.
“Death is the sentence. We know there’s nothing to be embarrassed about this, death is the sentence,” Sekaleshfar said during his speech.
And the Iranian scholar wasn’t even arguing that this was a form of vengeance. In fact, Sekaleshfar argued that death was a form of compassion, since it was the only way that gays and lesbians could be forgiven in the eyes of Allah.
“We have to have that compassion for people, with homosexuals, it’s the same, out of compassion, let’s get rid of them now,” he said.
Was he perverting the “religion of peace?” Well, no. When one looks at the Quran, one can see that he was doing exactly what the Prophet Muhammad wanted.
In 17 The Book on Legal Punishments (al-Hudud), it reads: “That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Whomever you find doing the actions of the people of Lut then kill the one doing it, and the one it is done to.'”
Lut, by the way, is the Arabic translation of Lot — the prophet of Sodom.
In the Bible, Abraham pleaded with God on Sodom’s behalf, asking if He will save the city if 50 righteous people are found. God says yes. Abraham asks if 40 righteous will allow the city to be spared, and God says yes. This goes all the way down to 10, and God continues to say yes.
Islam, meanwhile, says screw it — kill everyone in Sodom who has engaged in homosexual acts, and while you’re at it, kill every gay person going forward, too.
Let’s face some facts: While liberals want to pretend they’re the defender of both gay rights and Islam, they have chosen one over the other. And now, 50 people are dead.
Of course, liberals won’t see it like this. They’re going to continue to pretend that Islam, even in its most radical form, couldn’t be responsible for this attack.
Yet, all they need to do is look at the Quran. Or maybe hear what this imam — whom the attacker could have conceivably seen — had to say. They all would have sickeningly approved of what Omar Mateen did in Orlando on Sunday.
