James Woods Gets Avenatti so Good That Porn Lawyer Threatens To Sue
Michael Avenatti, the attorney representing porn star Stormy Daniels has enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame over the past several months as liberal media outlets couldn’t seem to get enough of the self-promoting lawyer suing President Donald Trump and Trump’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen.
In search of even more publicity as his limelight has begun to fade in recent weeks, the anti-Trump Avenatti traveled to the United Kingdom to take part in protests that occurred in London while the president visited with the prime minister and the queen.
Avenatti’s appearance in London included mugging for a BBC camera in the midst of the protest, which succeeded in getting the attention of outspoken conservative Hollywood actor James Woods.
Woods posted to Twitter a screenshot of Avenatti’s interview and compared him to the ridiculously over-hyped “Baby Trump Blimp” that anti-Trump protesters had received permission to float above the protest.

Woods tweeted on Friday, “Oh, look. The real diapered, hot air balloon…” — an insult that in essence slammed Avenatti as an immature and highly defensive adult that was full of nothing but hot air (at the best of times).
It would seem that Woods’ insult hit its mark and burrowed beneath the thin skin of the publicity-seeking attorney, as Avenatti responded the next day with a tweet that came across as nothing less than a threat of legal harassment against Woods.
Avenatti tweeted Saturday, “Has Been Jimbo: You know what I love? Every time you pop off about me, one or two more women contact my ofc and describe your harassment/assault of them and #MeToo issues, seeking representation.”
“Keep playing games and you will be next. I promise. #Basta,” the creepy porn star lawyer added threateningly.

It remains unclear exactly who or how many women have supposedly approached Avenatti with allegations of sexual impropriety against Woods, nor is it clear how those alleged accusers feel about Avenatti sitting on their claims while waiting for Woods to “keep playing games” before taking action.
Entertainment Weekly reported that two actresses came forward in 2017 to publicly lodge claims of sexual misconduct against Woods, the first identified as Amber Tamblyn (“General Hospital” and “Joan of Arcadia”) and the second as Elizabeth Perkins (“Weeds”).
Tamblyn’s claim centered on allegations that Woods had attempted to pick her up when she was only 16 years old — a charge Woods has flatly denied — and Perkins hasn’t really made any sort of claim, but was merely spotted at a rally in November holding a sign that read “James Woods #MeToo.”
Avenatti obviously didn’t appreciate the insult hurled his way by Woods, but his threatening response could potentially cause himself more harm than good, as it clearly comes across as a threat of legal action that is conditional upon Woods’ cessation or continuation of insults toward the attention-seeking attorney.
That implied threat could run afoul of the California Bar Association’s rules against threatening administrative or criminal legal action in order to gain an advantage.
It will be interesting to see if Woods is silenced by Avenatti’s threat — he probably won’t be — or if Avenatti will make good on his threat and expose Woods’ alleged misconduct in Hollywood — he probably won’t — or if Woods continues to slam the creepy porn lawyer while the creepy porn lawyer continues to seek out all the publicity his slimy countenance can handle.
