Watch: Jihadist Vehicle Blown to Hell By Fed-Up Female Militia

Share

Islamic radicals in Syria received an unpleasant surprise from the most unexpected of opponents on the field last week when a member of a female militia blew their pickup truck into smithereens.

According to Al-Masdar News, an online newspaper whose coverage primarily centers on conflict zones in the Middle East, the woman who fired at the radicals was a member of YPJ, a Kurdish resistance group affiliated with the Democratic Union Party in Syria.

A video recording that captured her actions showed her firing an anti-tank guided missile at “a technical vehicle that belonged to the Turkish-backed rebels in the Afrin region of Aleppo,” as reported by Al-Masdar.

Despite being a considerable distance away from the vehicle, the woman’s shot struck it perfectly, causing it to burst into flames and reportedly kill at least one member of the radical Islamist group Ahrar Al-Sharqiya.

Ahrar Al-Sharqiya is a terrorist group — the kind that wants to install Shariah law on its territory, and force women into burqas. Still, Turkey has allied with it and other Islamic factions — including Ahrar al-Sham, Mutasim Billah, Sultan Murad, Suleiman Shah and Failaq al-Sham, according to the Washington, D.C.-based news site Al-Monitor — in a bid to drive the Democratic Union Party out of Afrin.

The Guardian notes that the Turkish military launched an operation in late January specifically aimed at dismantling the Democratic Union Party’s YPG militia (YPJ is the female counterpart organization to the YPG).

“The Turkish army and allied Ankara-backed Syrian rebel forces are seeking to oust the YPG from its western border stronghold of Afrin. The operation so far has been marked by fierce clashes,” The Guardian reported.

Does Turkey even stand a chance against YPG?

Included among those “Ankara-backed Syrian rebel forces” are, of course, terrorists, not that this fact seems to bother Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, a man whose own documented rhetoric is riddled with extremism.

Last year he took aim at Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman over his desire to transform Saudi Arabia into a bastion of “moderate Islam.”

“Islam cannot be either ‘moderate’ or ‘not moderate,’” Erdoğan said at the time. “Islam can only be one thing.”

Violent, radical, sexist, misogynist, or all of the above?

“Recently the concept of ‘moderate Islam’ has received attention,” Erdogan continued. “But the patent of this concept originated in the West.”

Even with the help of radical Islamists, however, Erdoğan’s forces continue to be dealt devastating losses, as reported over the weekend by the BBC: “The Turkish military has suffered the deadliest day in its offensive against Kurdish militias inside northern Syria, with seven soldiers killed.”

Apparently, even the help of terrorists isn’t enough for Erdoğan to defeat YPG/YPJ.

I guess what they say is true: Hell hath no fury like YPJ women scorned.
