Kathy Griffin Teams Up with Stormy Daniels in Yet Another Vile Attack on Trump

Share

Last summer, a team of supervillains teamed up on-screen for the decidedly sub-par “Suicide Squad.” One year later, we have a kind of a low-key sequel. Instead of the Joker and Harley Quinn, we get Kathy “The Beheader” Griffin and Stormy “Giant Pupils” Daniels starring in “Newscast-Filler Battalion.” Coming to a cable channel near you!

Yes, the two invidious women who really think they have a snowball’s chance in hell of taking down the president teamed up in Boston this week, as Daniels decided to go see Kathy Griffin’s show. After the stand-up was over, Griffin tweeted out a picture of them together.

“@StormyDaniels it was an honor to have you at my Boston show tonight. I support you 100%!” Griffin tweeted Friday along with a photo of both of them giving the middle finger.

She added the hashtag “#F***Trump.”

Here’s an edited version of the picture.

Griffin’s been busy this week on the Twittersphere, previously referring to Melania Trump as a “feckless complicit piece of s***,” a callback to Samantha Bee’s infamous remark that Ivanka Trump was a “feckless c***.”

Oh, and in case you were wondering, this great meeting of the minds produced some profound insights about Melania Trump’s “I Really Don’t Care Do U?” jacket, according to the U.K. Daily Mail.

‘Wouldn’t you know you were in the f***ing jacket?” Griffin said in a video posted to Twitter.

Do you think Kathy Griffin's career is over?

“Even if she’s mad at the media, wait a f***ing week. Don’t do it today.”

“Time and place honey,” Daniels responded.

That’s really deep stuff from a porn star on minute 27 of her 15 minutes of fame and a woman who was apparently interviewed by the Secret Service for taking part in a photo shoot which included an effigy of the president’s severed head covered in fake blood. “Time and place honey” might have been good advice for K-Griff at some point last year.

I’m not entirely sure what Griffin is trying to prove via her behavior. After all the lachrymose apologies and the revocation of said apologies, it’s clear she now believes that her career and its success will be inextricably linked with that of the Trump family and how vile her insults toward them can be.

I don’t think this is a particularly good career move, inasmuch as anyone who wants to hear Trump being bashed can turn on MSNBC, a channel which is included in most cable or satellite packages. Turning it on involves merely a few flicks of the remote on the couch, rather than having to buy tickets to a Kathy Griffin show and then schlep themselves all the way there.

Also, by watching MSNBC, they have a chance of seeing unintentional hilarity as opposed to unintentional unhilarity.

Well, it is Kathy Griffin’s career, and far be it from me to tell her how to conduct it. Her monomaniacal focus on Trump has given her one thing in common with Republicans, however: She’s definitely hoping that The Donald gets re-elected in 2020. After all, she doesn’t have a whole lot of other recent material to speak of, and I don’t think “Newscast-Filler Battalion” is going to get picked up for a sequel.
