Award-winning recording artist Lady Gaga just attacked Melania Trump, wife of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, on social media.
According to The Smoke Room, Gaga called Melania a “hypocrite” after Melania gave an anti-bullying speech.
Gaga took to Twitter to slam the business mogul’s wife. “To say u will stand for ‘anti-bullying’ is hypocrisy. Your husband is 1 of the most notorious bullies we have ever witnessed,” Gaga tweeted.

While on the campaign trail in Pennsylvania, Melania announced that she would make it her priority as first lady to combat bullying on social media, and that sparked a lot of outrage.
“We need to teach our youth American values: kindness, honesty, respect, compassion, charity, understanding, cooperation,” Melania said.
“I do worry about all of our children. As we know, now social media is a centerpiece of our lives. It can be a useful tool for connection and communication. It can ease the isolation that so many people feel in the modern world,” she said.
“But like anything that is powerful, it can have a bad side. We have seen these already,” Melania continued. “As adults, many of us are able to handle mean words, even lies. Children and teenagers can be fragile. They are hurt when they are made fun of or made to feel less in looks or intelligence. This makes their life hard and can force them to hide and retreat. Our culture has gotten too mean and too rough, especially to children and teenagers.”
Lady Gaga, a pop star with pretensions to being a feminist, immediately attacked Melania Trump as being no more than an extension of her husband.

However, Melania should not be blamed for her husband’s controversial actions. Rather, she should be praised for her efforts to reach out to those affected by cyber bullying. Stars like Lady Gaga should think before they speak.
