A missing child case just got creepier after a sickening tattoo surfaced on the internet last week.
It has to do with the 10-year-old case of Madeleine McCann, who disappeared while she was on vacation in Portugal with her parents, Kate and Gerry. She was last seen on May 3, 2007, according to the U.K. Telegraph.
An investigation into the missing child continues to this day. The McCann’s believe their daughter, who would be 13 years old, is still alive.

This ordeal must be heartbreaking for this family, but it is made worse by heartless people who post sick things on the internet.

Truly disgusting.

Maga refers to Magaluf, a popular vacation spot on the Spanish island of Majorca. Apparently, partygoers like to frequent the many tattoo parlors in the area after a night on the town, and this particular tattoo is an example of what they come up with.
The U.K. Daily Star spoke to workers in some of the tattoo parlors, and one said, “We get loads of crazy Brits in here asking for all sorts of tatts.”
“We’ll do whatever they want, even if it’s offensive. Some people might say it’s a bit sick but it’s not going on our bodies and it’s the person’s decision,” the person said.

Apparently, and unfortunately, that appears to be true.
This kind of tattoo is heartless, foolish and downright mean. While the man who got the tattoo might have thought it was funny (which is hard to imagine), his action represents a disregard for life that a majority of society tends to be gravitating toward.
A tattoo can have many meanings, of course, but there’s no excuse for using one to make fun of the case of a missing child.
If this tattoo turns out to be real, then the man who has it permanently etched on his skin may live to regret it because once authorities find out who he is and where he lives, he will have quite a bit of explaining to do.
