Muslim Group Freaks After Learning About Trump's New Guantanamo Bay Orders

Share

As part of his efforts to stamp out Islamic terrorism, President Donald Trump just signed an executive order to keep Guantanamo Bay open. Now, one terrorist-Muslim group is losing their minds.

Trump’s executive order, which was signed on Jan. 30, 2018, states; “Detention operations at U.S. Naval Station Guantánamo Bay shall continue to be conducted consistent with all applicable United States and international law.”

The military prison, which was opened in 2002 by President George W. Bush after 9/11, is a secluded area where the federal government can keep terrorists and know they can’t escape.

During his administration, President Barack Obama continuously called for Guantanamo Bay to be close.

However, he failed to do so, and even pressured others to hurry and try to clear the cases of 65 prisoners in an effort to shut it down.

What a difference an administration makes. Now we have President Trump in the White House – a man who puts America first and will do anything to stop those who would cause Americans harm.

“I am asking Congress to ensure that in the fight against ISIS and al Qaeda we continue to have all necessary power to detain terrorists wherever we chase them down, wherever we find them. And In many cases for them it will now be Guantánamo bay,” President Trump said during his 2018 State of the Union address, according to CNN.

But there is one group who isn’t happy about President Trump’s announcement: CAIR.

This is a group that calls themselves an “American-Islamic civil rights group” but has been found to have radical Islamic ties.

Should Guantanamo Bay ever close?

“We condemn President Trump’s order to keep the illegal, exclusively Muslim-populated military prison in Guantánamo Bay open,” CAIR‘s Director of Government Affairs Department Robert S. McCaw said in a statement.

Wait, so because all of these terrorists are Muslims, their punishment is somehow unfair?

“Reports of abuse and a lack of due process at Guantánamo have tarnished our nation’s image in the international community and diminished our moral authority to prosecute suspected terrorists in U.S. custody,” he continued.

“The accused should be given a fair trial, consistent with our nation’s constitutional values,” the statement insisted.

The people sent to Guantanamo Bay are the worst of the worst. Conspirators of 9/11 – men who want to see American burn to ashes. These are the people held at Guantanamo Bay.

No, life should not be fair for these despicable people.

President Trump must be doing the right thing if he’s making people like this angry.
