The Obama administration has been keyed in on closing what it perceives to be a gender pay gap, and now it plans to intrude on businesses’ private records in order to get it done.
New regulations proposed by the administration would require large employers to disclose how much they pay male and female employees in an effort to further President Barack Obama’s goal to interfere with the free market.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission recently published a plan to gather pay data from employers with 100 or more workers, looking at information that could help the government target companies that may be discriminating against women, according to The Washington Times.
