Payback: Motorcyclist Evens Score After Racer Runs Him Off Track

Share

Cheaters never win.

And what goes around comes around.

Two timeless truisms were on display on a video getting a lot of attention on the internet this week as a motorcycle racer found out the hard way why you shouldn’t knock your competition off his vehicle:

He just might knock you right back.

In a video from Imgur that was picked up by the U.K. Express and published Saturday, a motorcyclist in a race is first seen knocking a fellow racer clear off his bike. But that wasn’t the end of the story.

Take a look at what happened here.

Maybe the miscreant thought he got away with it, but the victim had other ideas.

As the video shows, when the racers made another lap, the rider who’d been knocked from his bike was ready.

Do you think this revengs was justified?

And revenge, as they say, is sweet.

Unfortunately, the Imgur posting from November doesn’t give any mention of the date and location of the racing incident, but in some major ways, the details are irrelevant.

What the viewers clearly see are two riders ruthlessly out to take each other out of the race. (One rider is clearly a man, but we’re going to assume the other rider is too. With apologies to our feminist readers, motorcycle racing, and getting physical about is, is pretty much a male domain.)

Now, it’s a good chance there’s a back story to this we don’t know about. Racing sports are just as rivalry-driven as any other competitive field – NASCAR is known for relationships that are as testy as Ali-Frazier.

But even without the context of knowing who the riders are here, and whether there’s a personal grudge factor involved beyond sheer desire to win (for the first guy) and a thirst for revenge (from the second), viewers come away with two things proven pretty clearly:
