Pro-Trump Pastor Rips Into Maxine Waters, Calls Her a "Crazy Aunt"

Share

If you follow U.S. politics, you know there’s one person who floods the airwaves with some consistently flamboyant speech. Her name is Maxine Waters.

Most recently, she made headlines by refusing to go to the State of the Union address.

The reason? Because Waters continually plays the race card, alleging that Donald Trump is racist without evidence. You know, the same guy who lowered unemployment for African-Americans.

Of course, this isn’t too surprising for Maxine.

One African-American pastor called out Waters on Fox News and said what many of us are thinking.

Darrell Scott, a big supporter of President Donald Trump and a prominent pastor, often spends time speaking with Trump’s cabinet about inner city issues.

So, when he went on Fox’s “Varney & Co,” Stuart Varney cut right to the chase and asked him, “Why is Maxine Waters saying this kind of thing?

“This race card that the Democratic Party keeps playing is getting played out. It’s about as worn out as a deck of cards in the penitentiary. No matter what the president does. No matter what the president says, they’re going to try to play the race card when they don’t have anything else,” Scott responded.

Does Maxine Waters play the "race card" too much?

Scott wasn’t finished. He likened Waters to a “crazy aunt” we all know.

“She talked about the president … (not) behaving presidentially; she needs to act and behave congressionally,” he continued.

“You know you have what they call the drunk uncle? She acts like the crazy aunt that’s just rambling and babbling incessantly over every little thing, and her act is becoming very, very stale.”

He went on to say that Waters needs to worry about her own congressional district, because there are candidates who are willing to take her seat if she’s not careful.

He’s absolutely right.

Maxine Waters can call Trump a racist all she wants, but it’s Trump and the GOP-led Congress who have lowered unemployment for African-Americans. In fact, it’s the lowest it’s been in a very long time.

People in her district may start to take notice, and if she’s not careful, she’ll get booted out — which would be A-OK in my book.

So, kudos to Pastor Darrell Scott for saying what needs to be said. He’s a voice of reason in a very muddled political world. A world in which Maxine Waters is very much that “crazy aunt.”
