When a California legislator blocked a vote last week on an unfeasible, single-payer health care bill that would have bankrupted the already financially unstable state, deranged Democrats reportedly scrambled to flood him with death threats.
According to The Sacramento Bee, one threat sent to Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon via social media advised him to check “his schedule for baseball practice,” a sick reference to the shooting in Virginia earlier this month by a leftist activist that left House Majority Whip Steve Scalise critically injured.
Surprisingly, what concerned Rendon most weren’t the “distressing” death threats themselves, but rather the motivation behind them.

“What’s really bothersome for me is to read some of the threads and some of the comments from people who really believe that this bill would have actually provided services,” he told the Bee. “What’s disappointing is that those folks seem to have been sold a bill of goods.”
In a statement to the The Mercury News, he explained it further: “I’m a grown-up in politics, so those are things I can handle (but) what does bother me most are comments like these: ‘That was our last hope for our uninsurable son who is facing a heart transplant. He will be uninsurable once TrumpCare passes … You just killed my son.'”
To make matters worse, the Democrat-supported labor union that reportedly sponsored the bill has launched an aggressive campaign against Rendon, using vile imagery to paint him as a murderer.
