Retired Cop Posts Epic Message After Homeowner's Son Uses AR-15 to Drop 3 Thugs

Share

As a retired cop. Dustin Rogers knows a little bit more about firearms than a hack politician like Joe Biden.

As a man who received a “Lifesaving Award” from the Arkansas State Police during his career, he also knows a little more about acting fast in an emergency than the vice president who served under Barack Obama.

And in a Facebook post this week, Rogers proved just what a buffoon the former Veep really is.

Rogers used an example from last year, where an Oklahoma man used an AR-15 to take on three armed intruders who broke into his father’s home just outside Broken Arrow.

In the incident, which received extensive media coverage, Zach Peters, then 23, fatally shot an 18-year-old man and two boys, aged 16 and 17, when the three broke into the home about noon on March 27, 2017.

One intruder was armed with a knife, another with brass knuckles. The getaway driver, who was charged with murder in connection with intruders’ deaths, told cops they targeted the Peters home specifically because the Peters were thought to have money.

The shootings were ruled justifiable, according to the Tulsa World.

The Oklahoma case happened a year ago, but considering the heavy fire the AR-15 has come under since the February shootings at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, it’s a topic worth revisiting.

Gun grabbers and their media allies, who often know next to nothing about firearms, are spouting off as experts, claiming the AR-15 isn’t a weapon for self-defense, when gun owners know the opposite is true.

Do you think Joe Biden will be the Democrat nominee in 2020?

That didn’t start with the hysteria that’s swept the country since the Parkland shootings, of course.

Back in February 2013, when he was still vice president and just a heartbeat from the presidency (God forbid), Biden told an interviewer that women didn’t need an AR-15 to defend themselves.

He recommended a double-barreled shotgun, famously advising that a woman who feared for her life from an intruder lurking outside her home should fire a shotgun blindly outside, to scare the any criminals off.

What Biden advised was illegal in his home state of Delaware, according to a U.S. News report from the time. But it was also inane.

And that’s where retired Arkansas State Police Cpl. Dustin Rogers Facebook post from Friday comes in.

The page isn’t public, but it’s Rogers’ comments at the top that matter.

Check it out here:

“Good thing he didn’t use a double-barrel shotgun as Joe Biden recommended, or he would have been one round short do deal with the intruders,” Rogers wrote. “… two short if he fired first in the air, as Joe Biden recommended.”

Not even Biden fans – there must be some out there – have claimed that the former Delaware senator who spent eight years carrying Barack Obama’s water is the brightest man to ever enter American politics.

But his advice in this case was even dumber than usual. As shown by a YouTube mash-up of Biden’s interview with some actual video of women using shotguns versus an AR-15, Biden once again didn’t have a clue about what he was talking about.

Now, here’s the thing.

Democrats hold up people like Joe Biden as their champions. He was even leading the Democrat primary field for 2020 presidential campaign prospects in January, according to The Hill.

He clearly knows nothing about guns, and having lived a cossetted life as a United States senator and vice president, let’s just say saving lives isn’t really his forte.

Conservatives and Republicans, on the other hand, tend to listen to people like Dustin Rogers, a veteran lawman who was once decorated with a “Lifesaving Award” for performing CPR on a heart attack victim, according to the Arkansas State Police.

After almost two decades as a state police officer, he also had a good deal more time handling weapons than Biden.

And that’s what makes Rogers’ comments so perfect — showing Biden for the buffoon he really is.
