After the terrorist attack in Paris on Friday, the citizens of the world were glued to their laptops and television screens watching the news footage.
Viral Thread reported that some people who were watching a Sky News report have claimed to have seen Salah Abdeslam, one of the terrorists who participated in Friday’s slaughter and was considered to still be at large, walk right in front of a news camera.
These reports have not been confirmed, but there were several key details that should make everyone take a second look.
For starters, the man captured on camera bears a striking similarity to the photo that the French government has released of Abdeslam.
On top of that, as the man walks past the camera (going the wrong way) he stares straight at it and winks. Pretty unusual behavior for someone who should theoretically just be going about their day.
There are multiple rumors going around of Abdeslam’s whereabouts, which makes confirming that it is in fact him in the video all the harder to confirm.
However it does seem odd that someone would walk the wrong way down a street and deliberately look at a camera. These terrorists are showmen and like to be known, so it is possibly he did this just for the thrill of it.
You can watch the video for yourself below and determine whether you think the man in question is Abdeslam:
This video is likely to add to the already mounting tension in France. French police have conducted hundreds of raids over the past few days, arresting dozens of people.
Regardless of whether Abdeslam is in this video or not, the world needs to do whatever it takes to capture this man and bring him to justice.
