When an attacker threatens you, the best way to ensure your safety and survival is through self-defense. For those of us who believe in exercising our Second Amendment rights, that means having a gun and being ready to use it.
So, how many times do you shoot an attacker? The answer is simple — until the threat is not longer a threat.
A video uploaded to YouTube by Active Self Protection demonstrates why this is the best mindset to have when dealing with attackers.
We don’t know any of the details about this video, but what we see is the most important part. Two thugs decide they’re going to begin shooting at someone on the other side of a fence. While we don’t see the intended victim in the video, we know that he or she shot back and did not stop shooting until the threat subsided.
This person apparently lived by the motto: “Once you pull the trigger, don’t stop until your clip is empty.”
This video teaches us just how difficult it can be to take down a thug. One of the bad guys was injured pretty severely and lost the use of his legs. However, this did not stop him from continuing to shoot at his intended victim. Apparently, he needed a couple of more shots to get the message that he wasn’t going to win that particular gunfight.
It also teaches us how important it is to be ready to defend yourself at any moment.

Most criminals cannot be reasoned with on any level. That’s why it can be a good idea to let a gun do the talking when all else fails. While the bad guys in this video got away, you can bet they will probably think long and hard about pulling a similar stunt in the future.
We are living in a time when the Second Amendment has never been more important.
