Over the summer, the folks at Military.com, a website that claims to be “the largest military and veteran membership organization” in the country, posted a blockbuster video showing the top 10 attacks against the Islamic State group.
The first attack showed a fighter jet unleashing round upon round of devastation on what appeared to be a militant compound. While it was a decisive move, the next segment was far more interesting.
Specifically, it showed cowardly militants attempting to run for their lives as projectiles rained upon them, ultimately leaving them immobile and presumed dead.
The third attack was especially awesome. It showed a military soldier fire a rocket at what appeared to be some sort of moving vehicle that we assume was full of rancid-smelling terrorist scumbags.
But even that attack paled in comparison to the fourth, which showed a soldier suddenly pop up out of nowhere and quickly gun down two unsuspecting militants before they knew what was even happening.
The next two attacks showed more moving vehicles being demolished by rockets, while the seventh depicted a compound of some sort being bombed into dust.
Likewise, the eighth attack, filmed from the air, captured a militant-operated tank being ripped to shreds from an especially devastating air attack.
The ninth attack, submitted for comedic purposes I suppose, showed a military officer being hurled to the ground after firing a rocket launcher whose force was a tad more than he could handle.
The last video, filmed at night, showed a military helicopter firing an endless stream of missiles at a compound that, well, likely does not exist anymore.
Which is, after all, the whole point.
