A 39-year-old New Zealand weightlifter named Laurel Hubbard, who was born a male, recently dominated his female competition at the Australian international competition by lifting a total of 591 pounds, far more than the 572 pounds managed by his nearest rival.
According to The Daily Caller, there is another example to add to the list exposing the absurdity of allowing transgenders claiming to be women to compete with regular women.
The real women were not pleased.

“We deserve to be on an even playing field,” lamented Australian weightlifter Deborah Acason, who placed third in the competition, according to NZ’s 1NewsNow. “It’s difficult when you don’t believe you’re in that situation and being in an even playing field.”
“We’ve got two categories here, it’s been great that women can do the sport of weightlifting,” Acason continued. “(B)ut I think we need to look at a decision where we can give people in this situation, have a category where everyone can compete on an even playing field.”
New Zealand’s Olympic-class weightlifters abide by the rules set by the International Olympic Committee, which has no category set aside for transgender individuals, only recognizing the two biological genders, male and female. (Because there really are only two biological genders.)

According to the U.K. Daily Mail, transgender people who identify and wish to compete as females need only prove that their testosterone level has been kept under a specified level for the previous 12 months, which Hubbard was apparently able to do.
As for those complaining about Hubbard’s dominance of the other actual women in the competition, a New Zealand celebrity sportswriter and radio host named Phil Gifford parroted a load of progressive B.S. that essentially blamed the other female competitors for not being as strong as a man and accused them of being both jealous and prejudiced.
“Some very enlightened sports administrators made a rule which is very straightforward,” Gifford told 1NewsNow. “It’s testosterone levels, which is a much more scientific way of measuring male gender, female gender than anything else that is currently known. And Lauren has passed all of those tests over the last 12 months.”
“Therefore, she is completely entitled, I believe, to compete and anybody who says otherwise is either being, I think, very prejudiced, which is the main thing I would imagine, or just jealous of the fact that maybe this woman has come along and she’s better than the female competitors,” he continued.
“It is nevertheless a fact that in the years when she was competing as a male weightlifter there would be, I’m sure, some residual strength left from that,” Giffords added, betraying the real truth of the matter. “But the fact is, the rules are the rules and the rules allow her to compete and the people that are complaining about it really should just butt out.”
This is absurd and grossly unfair, as even though the weightlifting women are no doubt exceptionally strong in their own right, they still remain no match for a physically bigger and stronger male physique, all managed testosterone levels and mental gender identity aside.
This is the slippery slope that prescient people warned about, and though they were faced with laughter and ridicule, their dire warnings are now coming to pass.
