Trigger Warning: Student Kicked Out Of Class for Telling Truth About Transgenders

Another day, another instance of radical leftism running rampant throughout America’s colleges and universities.

This time, a student was punished for the horrible crime of speaking the truth — a scientific fact — namely, that there are only two sexes: male and female.

The incident took place on Feb. 28 during a Christianity class at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Rather than discussing the Bible, Jesus Christ, salvation from sin or other central Christian topics, Professor Alison Downie showed the class a TED talk by transgender ex-pastor Paula Stone Williams who discussed “mansplaining,” “sexism from men” and “male privilege,” Fox News reported.

After showing the clip, Downie asked for the women in the class to share their thoughts. But when no women spoke, Lake Ingle, a senior and religious studies major at IUP, decided to challenge the professor on the post-modern, far left doctrine she was espousing to the class.

Specifically, he told the class that the “gender wage gap” is a debunked myth, and that the official view of biologists is that there are only two sexes.

Ingle’s punishment for sharing his viewpoint was swift — he was immediately kicked out of class by the professor and told not to come back.

Downie also referred Ingle to the university’s “Academic Integrity Board,” and accused him of “angry outbursts in response to being required to listen to a trans speaker discuss the reality of white male privilege and sexism,” “disrespectful objection,” “refusal to stop talking out of turn,” and “disrespectful references to the validity of trans identity and experience.”

The professor wasn’t the only one who went after Ingle for his remarks. He received a letter on March 2 from IUP Provost Timothy Moreland.

Do you think Lake Ingle should be allowed to graduate?

“You are barred from attending this class in accordance with the Classroom Disruption policy,” the letter stated.

Ingle must complete the class to graduate at the end of the semester.

Ingle explained what happened to Fox News. “You can’t say that anecdotal evidence is fact,” he said. “My professor pretty much just tried to shut me up because she was just letting women speak. I brought up the fact that biologists don’t agree that there’s more than two genders and I said the wage gap she’s referring to – 77 cents on the dollar – that even the New York Times debunked that.”

“My professor is violating my First Amendment rights because of the fact that my views and ideology is different from hers. So she took it on herself to silence and embarrass me – bully me – for speaking up in class,” he continued.

For Ingle, it isn’t even primarily about the wage gap, gender or the other topics discussed in the class. It’s about university professors using their position to indoctrinate students, with no alternate viewpoints permitted.

“It is my firmest belief that every human being has the freedom and right to identify, dress, and represent oneself as they see fit,” Ingle said. “I think this is all an attempt to silence my views personally because they contradict the ones she pushes in class so evidently.”

Ingle’s hearing in front of the Academic Integrity board is set for March 16. If the board rules against him, he won’t be able to graduate in May.

Stories like Ingle’s are becoming extremely common at America’s educational institutions. Radical leftism has invaded the liberal arts — in this case, even a Christian religion class. Many university administrators and professors are on a clear mission to indoctrinate students with an identity politics, Marxist, post-modern ideology. Professors who don’t fit into that mold are rare, as are students who stand against it. They could risk their job, their grade, or in Ingle’s case, their degree.

Thank goodness for the courage of young men like Ingle who are willing to take that risk. We need more like him.

Share this story on Facebook if you think the radical leftist indoctrination in America’s schools needs to stop!
