Trump: Hillary's Hip-Hop Guest Jay-Z Was So Filthy He Made Me Look Clean
President Donald Trump traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday night for a campaign rally in support of Republican Senate candidate Marsha Blackburn,
As is typical of most Trump rallies, the event was a raucous, entertaining affair.
According to ABC News, Trump spent much of his time slamming Democrats for opposing everything he says or does. He took aim at House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, calling her an “MS-13 lover,” in light of her attacks against him for using the word “animals” to describe the vicious gang members.
At one point in his speech, the president turned his attention toward the 2016 campaign season, and spoke about the size of the crowds he drew compared to those of failed Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton.
The president recalled a Clinton rally late in the campaign which featured rapper Jay-Z in a clear attempt to draw a large crowd.
Trump noted that the rapper’s lyrics were so “filthy” that they made him look “clean-cut” in comparison.
“The only way (Clinton) filled up the arena was to get Jay-Z,” Trump said. “And his language was so filthy it made me look like the most clean-cut human being on earth. It’s true.”
“He’d stand up there before those crowds — and by the way, without any musical instruments, I had much bigger crowds than he was drawing,” he continued.
“But he’d stand up before those crowds and he’d use the F-word, and Hillary would sit back and say, ‘Oh, I’m in trouble, I’m in trouble! Please don’t have him use that kind of language anymore,'” Trump mimicked.
“And then he’d finish and everyone would leave, and she’d be standing up making a speech to 400 people,” he added to roars of laughter from the audience.
Trump, a New York native who came up in the rough-and-tumble construction and real estate world, is known to be quite coarse at times and makes no secret of the fact that he uses rough language when he feels it is necessary.
In fact, it was some of Trump’s rough language — his alleged use of the word “s***hole” to describe certain failing and poverty-stricken countries — that actually provoked something of a feud between Trump and Jay-Z, who called the remark “disappointing” and “hurtful.”
That is rather hypocritical coming from a rapper whose language is indeed quite “filthy” — one who makes prodigious use of not just the F-word, but also the N-word, the B-word and just about every other curse word imaginable that he can fit into a rhyme.
Further, for someone who is supposedly a racist like Trump, consider that his policies have led to historically low unemployment for African-Americans and Hispanic Americans, and take note that he recently posthumously pardoned black boxing champion Jack Johnson, who’d been convicted in 1913 of violating a law crafted by racists that was specifically aimed at punishing black men.
Consider also that, while Trump has long been smeared as a misogynist toward women, it was Clinton who featured Jay-Z at her rally, a rapper well-known for denigrating women in despicable fashion.
Trump is no paragon of virtue — he has admitted as much on multiple occasions — but even in his coarsest and crassest moments he doesn’t come close to the level of filth uttered on a regular basis by many of his hypocritical detractors on the left.
