Trump Jr. Humbles Arrogant Chelsea Handler After She Tries Splitting His Family

Share

As Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation — as well as a spin-off investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York — continue to try and sniff out alleged crimes by President Donald Trump, there has been much talk of Trump’s current and former associates being “flipped” against him.

It has been suggested that former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort would “flip” on Trump to save himself some jail time. Likewise, similar assertions have been made about former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, who recently appeared to implicate Trump by pleading guilty to a deal which included two counts of alleged campaign finance violations.

But those supposed campaign finance violations are in dispute as to whether they are even crimes, and word is Cohen hasn’t been as cooperative with the anti-Trump investigative teams as had previously been assumed by some.

Now rumors are swirling that Mueller’s team is focusing in on the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., in a bid to “squeeze” him with potential criminal charges in order to compel him to give up incriminating information on his father.

Ultra-liberal and Trump-hating “comedian” Chelsea Handler must’ve been wishfully thinking about such a development when she tweeted Monday, “I can’t wait for Donald Trump junior to flip on his father. That’s going to be awesome.”

But according to Twitchy, Handler’s far-fetched dream of Trump Jr. flipping on his father was brutally shot down the next day by Trump Jr. himself, who held nothing back in slamming the “comedian” for her rather unfunny brand of humor.

Trump Jr. tweeted Tuesday, “I’d say stick to comedy but you weren’t funny enough to avoid cancellation of your Netflix show. Stay away from politics — no reason to suck at two things.”

Is it absurd that some liberals really think Donald Trump Jr. will 'flip' on his father?

That rather sharp “zinger” from Trump Jr. is what is known in the social media world as a “sick burn,” not just because it slammed her so hard, but because she was slammed by the uncomfortable truth.

The Hollywood Reporter posted an article in Oct. 2017 which detailed the cancellation by Netflix of Handler’s talk show on the streaming platform after only two seasons.

The program initially began as a near-daily talk show but was reduced to a weekly program in the second season as it failed to catch on with viewers and the showrunner bounced after only three episodes.

Though Netflix cancelled her unfunny and unwatchable talk show after the second season, they nevertheless remained as partners together on a documentary project about the current political landscape … a project that will almost assuredly be as unfunny as her talk show had been.

As to Handler’s current pipe dream about splitting up the Trump family via a prosecutorial wedge driven between the president and his eldest son … that seems highly unlikely.

The most likely track for Mueller’s prosecutors to take against Trump Jr. would be with regard to his infamous June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower with a Russian attorney, ostensibly to obtain “dirt” on Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton.

That meeting turned out to be a bust, and there is growing evidence to suggest the entire thing was a trap set to ensnare the Trump campaign in a Russian collusion conspiracy.

It is always possible that Mueller or other prosecutors may one day find some verifiable wrongdoing on the part of Trump Jr. with which to exert pressure on him, but the likelihood of him “flipping” on his father to save his own butt is rather slim, no matter how badly anti-Trumpers like Handler wish it would happen.
