Trump Talks Impeachment, Stirs Up Leftist Outrage with Hilarious Tweet

Share

President Donald Trump slapped Democrats with a reality check after a newly elected representative called for his impeachment.

After taking the House of Representatives, Democrats are hopeful that they will be able to oppose Trump more effectively. Many of the newly elected Democratic representatives are notably radical, including Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib.

Thursday night, a video surfaced of Tlaib launching an attack on Trump in which she called for his impeachment.

“We’re going to go in and we’re going to impeach the motherf—er,” Tlaib told supporters.

The following morning, Trump had the perfect response for Democrats who think they’ll be able to impeach him.

Trump highlighted his popularity among Republicans and the lack of evidence supporting the left’s Russian collusion hysteria.

Will the House vote to impeach President Trump?

Trump is mostly right. Democrats don’t have any evidence for their most scathing “Russian collusion” claims, and they’d need 218 votes from 235 Democrats to vote to impeach him without it, assuming no Republican House members sign on.

Additionally, even if he were to be impeached by the House, Democrats would need the support of 20 Republicans in the Senate to remove Trump from office, and that’s unlikely in the extreme.

And finally, even if the impossible happened and Trump were removed from office, the White House would remain under Republican control as Vice President Mike Pence would take over the top slot.

Of course, far-left Twitter trolls — most of whom don’t seem to understand that impeachment doesn’t mean removal from office without a two-thirds majority vote in the Senate — still believe Democrats will successfully push Trump from the Oval Office.

Even Tlaib responded to Trump’s tweet by implying she was unapologetic about her vulgar comments.

“I will always speak truth to power. #unapologeticallyMe,” she tweeted.

Leftists are obsessed with Trump. Instead of talking about policy, they’d rather talk about impeachment.

But liberals would be bored if Trump were no longer president. What else would they do, if not spend their days watching his Twitter feed for something new to be outraged about?
