When two Muslim children, aged 11 and 14, rushed up from their seats while aboard a light rail car in Jerusalem and started stabbing a 25-year-old security guard, they soon learned an important lesson in Israeli justice.
According to the Israeli media network Arutz Sheva, the incident occurred early Tuesday afternoon and was just one of three similar stabbings that occurred in Jerusalem that day.
Unbeknownst to the punk teens, though, the guard they attacked was armed. After fighting them, he reportedly demanded that the younger of the two punks drop his knife. When he refused to listen, the guard shot him.
But here is what separates ordinary Israelis from the radical Muslims who have staged a series of brutal knife attacks in recent weeks. Rather than shoot him in the head, the guard purposefully chose to shoot the Muslim child in the leg, thus ensuring that he got to live another day.
Once the authorities arrived, the 14-year-old was arrested and the 11-year-old was shipped to a hospital and listed in serious condition.
The guard was sent to the hospital for treatment, as well.
“Along the way, the victim was conscious and interacted with us,” the medics who escorted him to the hospital explained. “He suffered superficial stab wounds in the head and upper body; during the evacuation to the hospital we gave him medical treatment, including stopping bleeding and changing dressings and giving fluids, and his condition was defined as mild to moderate and stable.”
The video can be found here, but be warned that it’s not for the faint of heart.
Now imagine if this attack had occurred in Gaza and involved two Jewish teens and a Hamas security guard. The kids would likely be dead, and the locals would be dancing in the streets in celebration.
